Inger and jason have had a holiday - sort of. A lot of it seemed to involve making a dash for state borders before they closed... Jason bought a drone and Inger bought a mid life crisis car.

In our work problems segment, Inger goes deep on the problem of rest, specifically, why she finds it hard and why that's not her fault. The discussion ranges broadly from bespoke chairs and elbow patches to how not to do your email on a Sunday night, via detours into pay rates for young architects and how to talk to your boss about how you spend your time. We end with a suggestion for a 'micro-activism' campaign, but we couldn't think up a good hashtag.

We didn't really get around to other books, although Jason does mention he's got 'The Bullet Journal' on the go and we take a question from one of our listeners about 'The 7 habits of highly effective people' - on notice.

Mentioned;

 ‘Rest: why you get more done when you work less’ by Alex Soojung-Kim Pang.
'Work's intimacy' by Melissa Gregg
'Why anxiety might be your superpower' - thesis whisperer post
